SECOND ANNUAL!
Every year, those who wish to support the Deaf Ecosystem seem to struggle to find Deaf/deaf, hard-of-hearing, and DeafBlind-owned (DHHDB) businesses. They are scattered across the internet and there has been no central catalog… until last year, when we initiated the Holiday Shopping Guide. We had a bunch of DHHDB-owned businesses participate, and we estimated that somewhere between $25,000-50,000 of new business went to these vendors.
We hope to double that this year. Please spread this list far and wide, and share your positive experiences shopping from these vendors!
Below are a list of Deaf/deaf, hard-of-hearing, and DeafBlind businesses that would appreciate your business over the holidays. When you buy from these individuals, you are putting food on their table. You are helping them be able to afford sports equipment for their children. You are funding their mortgages. You are helping with a car payment. Your purchase has a direct impact on the lives of Deaf/deaf, hard-of-hearing, and DeafBlind people.
Thank you for your support of the Deaf Ecosystem this year.
This list is constantly being updated. Please check back every few days!
Don’t overlook the social buttons underneath each listing – contact the shop owners directly by email, look at their Facebook and Instagram pages!
Are you a Deaf/deaf, hard-of-hearing, or DeafBlind-owned business that wants to be added to this list?
Click the button below, and we’ll add you within a day or two.

Bumbleberry Farms
Karen Sandusky Mosholder & Jon Mosholder
About the company:
It’s a rare, treasured thing when we find ourselves awakening from a dream that quite literally changes the course of our lives. Yet, that’s exactly what happened one Spring morning in 2011 when the idea for Bumbleberry Farms came into focus for our founder, Karen Sandusky Mosholder. She’d just completed a beekeeping workshop and had set up a couple of hives in her backyard when she found herself falling in love with the craft and the small but mighty honeybees. “Could I make a living doing this?” she wondered. Jon Savage Contemporary Art
Jon Savage
In my work, I deconstruct the classical subjects that are a part of my childhood and adult cultures. By incorporating a positive vibe, my work reproduces familiar classical subjects by arranging them into contemporary art. Often times these themes are combined into installations that feature stripes as abstract bases on sunrises/sunsets with different color temperatures. The artworks provide clues to interpret the content. Each project often consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings. During research and productions, new areas of interest arise and lead to a positive feeling.
